Do you want some travel inspiration?
Do you want to know how to travel on a budget?
Do you want to know about travel mainly in the UK but also from some places further-afield?
If you answered yes to any of these questions (and even if you didn’t you may as well look anyway – you might change your mind), we’re the blog for you!
Use the categories on the right to filter for the type of content you want, or just click on the blog posts tab to scroll through everything we have written. Alternatively, sign up to receive email notifications every time we post a new blog so you don’t risk missing out.
We don’t post super frequently but that doesn’t mean we don’t care – in fact, we’d rather spend more time perfecting a post and adding our personal opinions than just chucking out posts for the sake of numbers. So, you’ll be sure to find quality content on each of our posts, but if something doesn’t look right then please say and we can get to the bottom of it.
First, we’ll introduce ourselves so you can get to know a little bit more about the people behind Not-So-Trendy Travellers.
Zoe
I am 20 years old and a second year Biomedical Science student at Cardiff University. I am really interested in human biology and diseases etc. and, after completing my undergraduate degree, I want to go on to study a masters to become a Physician Associate.
Travelling and experiencing new things is my favourite past time, especially when I get to experience it with the people I love. I have been so incredibly lucky in all the places I have been to so far, but there’s just so much more of the world I haven’t seen.

I am 20, currently studying Physiotherapy at Cardiff University, with a view towards a focus on sports and traumatic brain injuries.
Travel has always been something that has interested me, both domestically and internationally – with a large portion of my holidays having an active and outdoor focus. From mountain climbing, to surfing and mountain biking travel with my family has almost always been an active affair and this is something I am most certainly enthusiastic to continue.
I have been incredibly lucky to have experienced the places and cultures that I already have, and am only eager for this to continue this beyond.

So now you know a little bit more about us, what we do and what we love. We really hope you enjoy reading our blog and find some travel inspiration!
Happy travelling!
